Infestation Status of Some Major Insect Pests of Soybean and Their Management

The study was conducted to investigate the effective management of some major insect pests soybean in research field Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka during period from December, 2020 March 2021. experiment designed with Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) three replications. During this total six insecticides were tested viz., Lambda-Cyhalothrin @1ml/L water Neemoil 3g detergent; Thiamethoxam @0.5g/L water; Spinosad @0.5ml/L Chlorantraniliprole @0.3ml/L Emamectin Benzoate water. Data on different populaton number and yield collected recorded. lowest population per unit whitefly jassid found treated plots after consecutive times application. Similarly, aphid plots. On other hand, @0.5gl/L against whitefly, aphid, pod borer plant, while highest infestation observed control maximum 1.68 t/ha, water, followed by (1.61 t/ha ) Among treatments, more for controlling as well soybean.
